PhotoIRmote is the first DSLR Timer Remote Controller for android devices. It allows you to shoot your camera using the InfraRed sensor of your camera and an IRmitter (IR emitter) connected to your phone.

It includes Self-timer, Long exposure, Interval-timer and Count-exposures. You can also combine these modes. For instance, you can program PhotoIRmote to wait 5min, release the shutter, then take a total of 25 exposures at 2min intervals

*** WARNING!

- This app requires an IRmitter to control the camera. Visit our web to follow DIY instructions to build your own.

- PhotoIRmote works with any smartphone running android (2.1 or higher). BUT some devices (as Samsung Galaxy S or HTC Desire HD) may not drive enough output level to fire the camera using a REGULAR IRmitter.

HOWEVER, if you use an active IRmitter (DIY) or any preAMP (which amplifies the signal) it will work OK!!

PLEASE UNINSTALL TRIAL VERSION FIRST AND THEN INSTALL FULL VERSION.

This program records phone calls from the phone line on some phones. Such recording is not usually available out-of-the-box, it needs hardware support in your OS kernel and root access. If you have an HTC device, you’re in clover if you’ve got a custom ROM. Otherwise, please visit the xda site, there’re plenty. Basically any device is supported, provided that it’s based on a Qualcomm chip, say, their Snapdragons, etc. If your device has no such support, the program still records phone calls, but you need to select Android API in preferences and the recording will most likely proceed from the mike, not from the line. Please feel free to make any comments or send suggestions.
